This is a list of modified cars that can go from 0-60 in the fastest time possible, so you won’t necessarily find a list of the cars’ top speeds here. All the cars included reach 60 mph in under 3.5 seconds.
The list below is continuously updated as newer modified cars are released and have been proven to beat the 0-60 times required to make the list.

1. 1999 Chevrolet S-10 NHRA Pro Stock Extended Cab Race Car 1.08 seconds
S-10 NHRA Pro Stock race truck is based on heavily modified 2nd generation Chevrolet S-10 extended cab compact pickup. Engine has been replaced with 5.9-liter V8 that produce incredible 850 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque matted though 5-speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive only. With drag tires MT was able to reach 0-60 in impossible 1.08 sec and quarter mile in only 7.62 seconds traveling at 171.31 mph (275.7 km/h). AMS Performance Alpha Omega is real Godzilla based on Nissan GT-R. There has been many modification perform on GT-R from interior to bodywork and under hood. Engine displacement has been increased to 4.0-liter twin turbo V6 that produce almost unbelievable 2,000 hp and with so many modifications and drag tires it is able to lay down 0-60 times in only 1.53 seconds. It is race car.
3. 2000 Ford Mustang Boss SVE 1.9 seconds
Mustang Boss SVE is prototype developed by Ford Special Vehicle Engineering department. It features 9.8-liter naturally aspired V-8 that produces 855 hp and 794 lb-ft of torque. Matted with Ford C6 only 3-speed automatic transmission. Even though it is only rear wheel drive CD was able to put down 0-60 in astonishing 1.9 seconds and quarter mile in 10.55 seconds.
4. 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Lingenfelter 427 1.97 seconds
Modified on Corvette C5 generation by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering with 7.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 was able to lay down 0-60 times in less than 2.0 seconds tested by MT.
5. 2019 Lamborghini Huracan Performante VF Engineering 2.4 seconds
VF Engineering modified car that was already extremely quick and fast Huracan Performante. They supercharged 5.2-liter V-10 with Eaton TVS2300 supercharger that increased power to 830 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque and still paired to 7-speed dual clutch auto transmission. CD was able to complete 0-60 in 2.4 seconds and in only 20.6 seconds reach 0-180 mph or 290 km/h.
6. 2001 Dodge Viper Hennessey Venom 800 Twin Turbo GTS 2.43 seconds
Hennessey Venom 800 Twin Turbo is modified on second generation Dodge Viper coupe. It is road legal supercars with power coming from 8.0-liter Garret twin turbo V10 that spins out 833 hp and 902 lb-ft of torque connected with 6-speed manual. MT was able to reach 0-60 in only 2.43 seconds.
7. 2009 Nissan GT-R GReddy GT43 2.5 seconds
GReddy GT43 is based on GT-R that has been modified with custom body kit, engine and other components. Engine displacement has been increased to 4.3-liter twin turbo V-6 that produce around 900 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque. It is still matted to 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and 0-60 is achieved in only 2.5 seconds according to RT.
8. 2009 Nissan GT-R AMS Performance Alpha 9 2.6 seconds
Alpha 9 is based on GT-R that has been modified by AMS Performance. Majority modification went into engine but there are some on bodywork, wheels and other. Power estimate is 800 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque extracted from 3.8-liter twin turbo V6. MT was able to complete 0-60 in only 2.6 seconds, quarter mile in 10.4 seconds and standing mile in 27.5 seconds at speed of 189 mph (304 km/h) on 93 octane fuel.
9. 2020 Lamborghini Urus Kar Tunz (tie) 2.7 seconds
Lamborghini Urus by Kar Tunz is the 1st and only SUV in this list. All power upgrades come from original turbochargers increased pressure and exhaust system. It adds about 100 horsepower to 725 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque from same displacement 4.0-liter twin turbo V8. In testing 0-60 comes in only 2.7 seconds and quarter mile in 10.9 seconds by CD. Some other modification include lowered by 0.5 inch and exterior body parts.
9. 2014 Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III Race Car (tie) 2.7 seconds
MiEV Evolution III is purposely built battery electric race car by Mitsubishi Motors that is not road legal. It is powered by 50-kWh battery and front and back electric motors that makes total of 604 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque. Total curb weight is 3,226 pounds (1,463 kg) and MT reach 0-60 in only 2.7 seconds.
9. 2009 Nissan GT-R AMS Performance Ronin (tie) 2.7 seconds
Another AMS Performance product that is called Ronin is based on Nissan GT-R that has been modified. Its modification includes carbon fiber body panels, larger turbochargers and increased engine displacement. Engine power comes from 4.3-liter twin turbocharged V-6 that pumps out 1000 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque running on 93 octane fuel. With 6-speed dual clutch CD reach 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and quarter mile in 10.0 seconds flat.
9. 2011 Porsche 911 Champion Motorsport Turbo S RSR (tie) 2.7 seconds
Champion Motorsport Turbo RSR is based on Porsche 911 Turbo S (997). They made many modifications from body panels to interior added half roll cage to powertrain. It is still powered by 3.8-liter twin turbo flat-6 that produces 640 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Even though it has more power it has slightly slower top speed than Turbo S and 0-140 mph comes in about 1.2 seconds slower because of added wide body kit.
10. 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Callaway SC757 Z06 (tie) 2.8 seconds
Callaway took C7 Corvette Z06 coupe and modified to its specs. It featured larger supercharger 6.2-liter V8 that spins out 757 hp and 777 lb-ft of torque. MW was able to get 0-60 with 7 speed manual in only 2.8 seconds.
10. 1968 Chevrolet Corvette LT-2 (’70 engine) (tie) 2.8 seconds
GMC tested prototype mule in late ‘60. It was based on Corvette C3 generation that was 1968 but its body was updated to look like 1969 and engine supposed to be for 1970. Power come from 7.4-liter V-8 making on dyno test 625 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque and with only 3 speed automatic transmission, MT was able to reach 0-60 in 2.8 sec.

11. 2014 Audi RS 7 APR Stage 1 (tie) 2.9 seconds
APR LLC, Alabama based long time VW tuner has quickest and easiest way to modified Audis. In this case is RS 7 with APR Stage 1 that is only software upgrade for less than $4k it increases power to 674 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque from 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. With software upgrade and 93 octanes CD got 0-60 in only 2.9 seconds but manufacture warranty will still be voided as with other tuners.
11. 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo Heffner LP 560-4 (tie) 2.9 seconds
Heffner LP850 TT is based on modified 2nd gen Gallardo LP560-4 coupe. Majority modification went into engine department from added twin turbochargers to better cooling. Engine displacement is still 5.2-liter twin turbo V-10 that spins out 850 hp and 608 lb-ft of torque with paired 6-speed automatic transmission. CD was able to produce 0-60 in only 2.9 seconds.
12. 2000 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1 572 CSV (Chevy Special Vehicles) (tie) 3.0 seconds
Chevrolet Special Vehicles department is GM department that builds prototypes. On 4th generation 1993 Camaro with updated sheet metal that was owned by company and used as corporate commuter they built Camaro ZL-1 CSV prototype. Power comes from 9.5-liter V8 that pumps out 770 hp and 683 lb-ft of torque. Matted with G Force 5-speed manual was able to reach 0-60 in 3.0 seconds.
12. 2010 Nissan GT-R HKS R35 (tie) 3.0 seconds
HKS R35 is based on GT-R that been modified by Japanese tuner HKS. Even though turbochargers are still original there has been much other modification such as titanium exhaust system, intercooler kit, transmission cooler kit and many other components. Power increased to 638 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque from 3.8-liter twin turbocharged V-6. 0-60 results in only 3.0 seconds and quarter mile in 11.1 seconds by RT.
12. 2008 Nissan GT-R Mine’s (tie) 3.0 seconds
Mine’s Japanese legendary tuner is famous for modifying Nissan Skylines from R32 to R34 and now GT-R. Majority modification went into ECU but there is some light exterior modification too like front spoiler, winglets etc. Engine displacement is still same 3.8-liter twin turbo V-6 producing 550 hp which was enough for RT to lay down 0-60 in 3.0 seconds flat.
13. 2010 Audi R8 Stasis Challenge Extreme Edition 5.2 Quattro (tie) 3.1 seconds
R8 Stasis Challenge Extreme Edition is based on 1st gen Audi R8 5.2. Stasis has been busy modifying numerous components from engine department by adding Eaton TVR2300 supercharger to monstrous 5.2-liter V-10, to suspension, wheels and even computer brain is upgraded. Total power comes to 710 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque and 0-60 in only 3.1 seconds. On top of everything Stasis warranty for 5 years or 50,000 miles.
13. 2010 BMW M3 GT Race Car (tie) 3.1 seconds
M3 GT is a race car based on BMW 3-series (E92) 5th generation that has been heavy modified by BMW Motorsport for racing in GT2 class. Its transmission, starter, ac compressor has been mowed to the rear of car for better weight distribution and handling. Another upgrade is that body a panels and doors hood etc has been made of plastic (carbon fiber) so its total weight is 2,830 pounds (1,284 kg). Its power comes from 4.0-liter naturally aspired V8 that pumps out 470 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque matted with 6-speed manual shifter. Because it is race car it only has one seat and is not street legal. 0-60 comes in 3.1 seconds when tested by CD.

Viper Competition made by Dodge is a race car that is not road legal because it is made specifically for track. It is 3rd generation Viper so power comes from 8.3-liter naturally aspired V-10 that produce 520 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque. Matted to 6-speed manual it is able to reach 0-60 in 3.1 seconds according to CD.
13. 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Heffner (tie) 3.1 seconds
Another product from Heffner Performance comes in upgraded 1st gen Lamborghini Gallardo with so called Twin Turbo 700 package. Main upgrades are under hood so engine is 5.0-liter twin turbocharged V-10 that extract 700 hp and 505 lb-ft of torque. Gallardo is still paired to 6-speed manual transmission with all-wheel drive so CD was able to get 0-60 in only 3.1 seconds.

911 GT2 (993) is race car that is based on 911 Turbo by Porsche for GT Class race. Its upgrades include powertrain, exterior body panels and some interior. Because it is race car it only has one seat. Power comes from still 3.6-liter twin turbo flat-6 that produce estimated 450 hp with paired 6-speed manual.

Roock RST 650 is based on modified Porsche 911 Turbo (996). Majority modification went on engine and transmission. According to Roock almost all engine parts has been upgraded except the block. In that process RST 650 gained more than 200 horsepower and torque to 650 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque from 3.6-liter twin turbocharged flat-6. Other modification included brakes, wheels and some interior.

14. 2000 Porsche 911 GT3R Race Car (tie) 3.2 seconds
911 GT3R is a race car that is purposely built by Porsche from Weissach that is based on 911 (996). Because it is designed for GT Class American Le Mans Series, Porsche had to changed many components to their standards. It is powered by 3.6-liter naturally aspired flat-6 with 410 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. With 6-speed manual and recommended 112 octane race fuel, MT was able to reach 0-60 in only 3.2 seconds because it weighs less than 2,500 pounds (1,134 kg).
15. 2000 Audi R8 Le Mans Race Car (tie) 3.3 seconds
R8 Le Mans is purposely built race car by Audi for Le Mans. It only has one seat and it is not road legal. Because it is race car it has different engine that is 3.6-liter twin turbocharged V8 that produce 610 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Curb weight is only 1,997 pounds (906 kg) because whole chassis and body is made of plastic (carbon fiber) and aluminum. Based on Corvette C5, Lingenfelter did its magic. Add on twin turbochargers on 5.7-liter V8 and was able to produce 650 hp and 600 lb-ft or torque. With all that power and added drag slicks and 6 speeds manual, MT was able to lay down 0-60 time in 3.3 seconds.
15. 1999 Dodge Viper Hennessey Venom 650R (tie) 3.3 seconds
2nd generation Viper GTS coupe has been heavily modified by Hennessey to become Venom 650R. Modification includes engine, bodywork, spoiler, braked, adjustable suspension and many other components. Venom 650R ends up with 8.4-liter V-10 that spins out 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.

RSI 700 Roadster is based on 3rd generation Dodge Viper Roadster modification made by Racing Solutions Inc. It still has 8.3-liter naturally aspired V-10 but engine output has been increase to 690 hp and 680 lb-ft of torque. 911 Singer is based on modified and improved 911 (964) by Singer Vehicle Design. There were many modifications done on body panels, interior and powertrain. Even though body is 964, transmission is from 993 generation and engine displacement has been increased to 3.9-liter flat-6 with total output of 390 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque.

Open Flash Performance is aftermarket car tuner company that tuned 5th generation Toyota Supra inline-6 to produce 500 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque according to manufacture. With power increase its 0-60 time dropped for 0.5 second compare to stock Supra time when tested by C&D.
16. 2012 Audi R8 Grand-Am (tie) 3.4 seconds
Audi R8 Grand-Am is race car only one seat that is based on 1st gen R8. Even though it is race car Grand-Am has intake restrictor and other modification that restrict power to only 480 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. With less than 3,200 pounds (1,452kg) RT 0-60 was in only 3.4 seconds with 6-speed manual.

M3 GTR is a race car based on BMW 3-series (E46) 4th generation that has been heavy modified by BMW Motorsport for racing in GT class. Katech Z06 ClubSport is modified on Corvette C6 Z06. It’s powered by LS7 7.0-liter naturally aspired V8 and matted thru 6-speed manual transmission. Engine produces 535 hp and 490 lb-ft of torque according to Katech.
16. 2006 Ford GT Heffner Performance 800TT (tie) 3.4 seconds
Heffner Performance 800TT is based on 1st gen Ford GT coupe. Majority upgrades went to engine where supercharger is replaced with twin turbochargers and there are some more components that they replace but mainly under hood. It comes with 5.4-liter twin turbochargers V-8 that produce 800 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque with 6-speed manual. CD was able to get 0-60 0.1 seconds slower than stock because of traction issue.
16. 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Vishnu Performance System Stage (tie) 3.4 seconds
Vishnu Performance modified Lancer Evolution with Stage 3 package. In Stage 3 upgraded includes increased turbocharger pressure and some other engine components along with shock, differential and minor exterior modifications. Displacement was still 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that spins out 475 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque through 5-speed manual and all-wheel drive system.
